Scene 3:

Character and scene description:

An elevator arrives in a well lit room. An unnamed male character (Character “A”) dressed in a black suit carrying a briefcase exits the elevator the right and confidently walks down a corridor.

Character “A” arrives at a windowless door, waits momentarily and enters. Upon entering an office like room he stands in front of a desk silently. A man obscured from view in the chair behind the desk (character “B”) talks.

CHARACTER B

(Says seriously)

There’s a problem. Around six minutes ago someone broke in to the building and begun hacking into our system.

CHARACTER A

Do we know why?

(Character A’s face is revealed for the first time by a OTS shot of Character B)

CHARACTER B

(Says firmly)

Yes. You are undoubtedly aware of the new strain of Ebola ravaging our nation. Well I am quite sure you don’t know that it was created by us six months ago.

(At this point CHARACTER B’s voice becomes a voiceover narration for Flashbacks depicting what he is saying)

We were originally contracted by a Private military corporation to create a new form of biological weaponry.

(Shots of people working in a laboratory)

However we soon realised that if the virus were realised upon the general public, there would be limitless market potential for the cure.

(Pictures of People dying of the virus)

However,

(CHARACTER B’s tone of voice drops)

We didn’t expect someone would find out. He broke in and has managed to obtain not only the details of the cure but proof of our involvement.

CHARACTER A

(Now more Serious)

What would you have me do?

CHARACTER B

(Say’s coldly)

Bring him in, and recover what he has taken.

Without another word Character A turns and exits the room. The scene closes with a smash cut of the office door closing.
